The recently approved Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway(M-6) would revolutionize interior Sindh, said Chairman China Pakistan Economic Corridor ( CPEC) Authority Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa.
In a tweet post, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information informed that that the 306km highway was approved in a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) which will be constructed on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis.
“It will contribute to construction boom, socio-economic revolution for interior Sindh,” he said.
He said following the construction of the project, the eastern route of the CPEC (Peshawar-Karachi) will also be completed. Bajwa said that the project would also connect eastern Balochistan to the countrywide network of motorways.
