Utility Stores shut across Pakistan just ahead of Ramadan

Just a day before the start of the holy month of Ramadan in the country, President All Pakistan Workers Union Syed Arif Shah has announced to close all utility stores across the country.

As per details, Shah has called for an indefinite closure of Utility Stores from today (Friday) if the demands are not met. It may be mentioned here that negotiations between the Managing Director Utility Stores and the workers union failed yesterday.

Shah has said that stores across the country will not open till all the demands are accepted. The strike chief informed that the government had announced to pay extra wages to the utility store workers for working in during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to provide safety equipment to the workers which were not met.

Shah has appealed to the Prime Minister Imran Khan to issue immediate orders to solve their problems.
